Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS Training)
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Training, also known as WHMIS Training, is a vital tool for workplace security in any organization where dangerous chemicals are handled. Mastering WHMIS will allow participants to identify hazardous materials and understand how to handle them safely.
Course Content and Duration
This two-hour course, designed by GardaWorld, educates on how to recognize the hundreds of chemicals that are used in the workplace, how to know which are hazardous, and how to protect themselves and others. With WHMIS Training, participants will be able to identify hazardous materials and know how to use them safely. They will receive a certificate upon successful completion. The transition from WHMIS to GHS, implemented by public authorities in 2015, will also be taught as part of this course.
