First Aid Training Quebec
Developed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, our First Aid Training Quebec course provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). (French only).
Course Content and Duration
In a medical emergency, simple actions can make a difference. This First Aid Training Quebec course was developed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation to help anyone react in a timely and appropriate manner in case of emergency.
Main topics include:
- Recognize the signs of cardiac distress/arrest
- Clear obstructed airways
- Carry out CPR on adults and children
- Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Use a pocket respiratory mask
Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older at the time of registration
- Read and write in French
Certification:
Upon completion of your training, you will receive a Heart and Stroke Foundation certificate of completion attesting to your CPR and AED skills to meet employment, regulatory or other requirements.
