Securing critical infrastructure in the oil & gas industry

The amount of attacks on oil and gas and utilities has increased 70% in the last year, which is significant.

Refineries are built to refine crude oil. They have safety protocols and they have some security protocols, but they have to bring in duty experts that really provide them that capability.

And so it makes the entire site safer.

If there's an incident, well, you know, we want to make sure that we are quickly to the site, into the area where there could be a potential problem.

Having a layered approach, you have your sensors, you have man guarding, you have security cameras, you have access control.

Most oil and gas platforms or reproduction sites try to equip the man and create some standoff and create faster decision making.

We have solutions that include a drone flying out to where there's an alert and having eyes on to go, OK, hey, look folks back at the guard station.

We've got some folks out here that shouldn't—that shouldn't be here.

We need to, you know, we need to send a second layer, right? We need to send a team out here to assess the situation from the video evidence that we've seen from the drone.

It's different layers. And when you implement those, I think it really reduces a lot of risk.
